Wild PR

We make your brand

our business

Consider us part of your team

(Without the need to set up a desk or send us through HR)
Once we’re up to speed on who you are and where you want to go, we make it our personal mission to help you get there.

At WILD PR, we help you make powerful connections with your audience.

There’s an art to public relations—and it’s constantly evolving.

An effective PR strategy can change the entire course of your business.
We’d know, we’ve seen it.

Leading with relationships & compelling storytelling strengthens that authentic connection you’ve worked so hard to establish with your ideal clients, customers, & target consumers.

Now? You need a partner that stays on top of shifting trends & run-of-the-mill practices, to keep your PR strategy whip smart while you focus on other facets of your business.

Here’s how we break that down: first, we saddle up with your team to get clear on what matters most to you. Then, we develop a multi-faceted strategy to reach your audience. We clear the corporate clutter, merging connection-driven strategies with new-school approaches like influencer marketing & old-school (and some of THE most valuable PR assets to earn audience trust!) media relations.

Once we thread YOUR story through the mix, it’s pitch-perfect—and we’ll get the word out for incomparable results.

I’m a born adventurer—as the daughter of two entrepreneurs, I always knew one of my greatest endeavors in life would be owning my own business. I started young: first shoveling neighbours’ sidewalks, then moving on to start a small organizing business on Craigslist after high school.

After almost a decade in corporate events, marketing & fundraising, cutting my chops with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (Heyyyyy Raptors & Maple Leafs!), life finally led me down the path to starting WILD PR.

Nowadays, my proudest professional moments include watching our team expand our horizons as we serve international brands like Whittaker’s and Sproud, as well as getting big results for local clients like the Southcentre Mall & Mount Engadine Lodge. And of course, nothing feels better than pro-bono work because giving back to our community is the heart of who we are.

When I’m not working, I’m happiest getting outside with my husband, our two young daughters Avery and Scarlett, and Rosie, our 130-lb Bernese Mountain dog. Everything feels better following some fresh air and a quick reset in the awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies. While being a new mom has kept me home in recent years, one of my greatest passions in life is travel (that’s actually why I chose the name WILD for the biz!) and after traveling to more than 30 countries, you can often find me at 10 o’clock at night perusing travel destinations when I should be getting to bed.

After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Communications, I had the good fortune of finding the perfect career fit in PR almost immediately – and I haven’t looked back since. I have been working with clients of all shapes and sizes in an agency setting for nearly a decade and continue to be inspired daily by the incredible opportunities I have to kickstart excitement for businesses, brands, and organizations with important and compelling stories to tell. I also had the honour of being named one of PR in Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2016.

Giving back has always been an integral part of who I am, so some of the proudest moments of my career have been serving non-profit organizations and pro-bono clients. Using my time and talents to contribute to deserving causes and help better the community at large is something I remain deeply committed to in both my personal and professional life.

As a native Calgarian, I am constantly in awe of the natural beauty surrounding our city. I enjoy exploring the Rockies all year round and can often be heard exclaiming “I can’t believe we get to live here!” when taking in a stunning mountain vista. In the winter you can find me on the ski hill or at the curling rink, and when summer comes I am always excited to cheer on the chuckwagons or two-step till dawn at Stampede. No matter the season, I love to unwind by baking up a storm or curling up on the couch with a glass of wine to rewatch Friends for the millionth time. And while Calgary will always be my home base, my unquenchable thirst for travel has also taken me to nearly 20 countries across five continents where I’ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in a number of wonderful and unique cultural experiences, one passport stamp at a time.

Even though I was born and raised in Calgary, I’ve spent the majority of my professional career in Vancouver & Toronto. I feel so lucky to have close friends in all three cities and definitely feel like my heart is being pulled in three directions at all times — but Calgary will always be home.

I started my career working in an agency, and I love the fast-paced environment, the variety of clients, and how every day is always different. My favourite part of the PR world is media relations and working on stories that positively affect the communities — there’s just nothing quite like the rush of getting your client placed in a top-tier national publication when you know you’re making a difference.

This past year has been the biggest and most exciting year of my life! I got married in July, and after four years away, I made the move back to Calgary, and am very excited to rediscover this great city. My husband and I also just purchased our first home and are so excited to return to our hometown! We love to travel and get outside. On our weekends, we’re always hiking with our Lab Heeler, Poppy —and we just got back from our honeymoon in Italy & Spain!

Actually partnering with somebody who has the relationships with influencers and knows what appeals to the Canadian consumer, that’s what’s been truly valuable about working with WILD.

Without WILD, I would have no clue where to start —

you’d think our target audiences would be similar in different markets, but what WILD has helped us find out is, it’s actually not.

Liv Glazebrook | Brand Manager, Whittaker’s

It’s a high compliment when our clients call us FRIENDS—

We find we work best when our goals align with what we believe.

We are communicative, transparent, and accountable.

We are relentless in our pursuit of results.

We embrace and prioritize diversity and inclusion.

We are humble, warm, and heart-driven.

We believe work should fit within your life, not be your life.

We are ethical, honest, and authentic.

We care deeply about our community.

Sound like a good match?

WILD’s the type of partner you want supporting your business, because it’s not just contractual, it’s not just a business thing.

It all starts with who you’re working with and that spirit of partnership. The team at WILD gets involved in the brand, they understand the brand and they genuinely want to over deliver—when you’re a small company looking for results more than your budget, that’s the type of partner you wanna bring on.

The same goes for them, for a small agency, they really punch above their weight.

Bill Lange | General Manager, North America Sproud

WILD PR will help you create genuine connections with your audience by engaging media and developing partnerships with influencers that actually build traction for your brand.
