SITUATION

WILD PR has worked with Southcentre Mall for a number of years on an annual retainer basis, ensuring the mall is kept top of mind with local audiences throughout the year. WILD partners closely with Southcentre to facilitate coverage that contributes to the mall’s position as a community-minded industry leader and well-loved gathering place within Calgary. WILD has provided PR support for initiatives like the CIBC Run for the Cure’s annual Pink Pancake Breakfast, sensory friendly programs and events, an inaugural Noon Year’s Eve event, a major immersive public art display featuring local artists, numerous pop up markets, the unveiling of major retailers, the ongoing promotion of Southcentre’s commitment to supporting small businesses and local entrepreneurs, and more.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Regularly secure coverage from local media outlets including CTV News, Global News, the Calgary Herald, Daily Hive, Curiocity, Narcity, Avenue Magazine, 660 News, CTV News, Family Fun Canada, and beyond
  • Facilitate the execution of influencer programs of all sizes from start to finish, including large-scale paid partnerships and mail-out campaigns
  • Provide onsite support for events where media and/or social media influencers are present
  • Manage public relations campaigns for all mall-led initiatives, including providing support to third-party partners like non-profits, mall retailers and event producers
  • Offer media prep coaching and key messaging development to all mall and community partner spokespeople who may be asked to engage in interviews
