SITUATION

The District at Beltline is a unique urban redevelopment project in the heart of downtown Calgary, featuring a stand-out array of 11+ dining and entertainment concepts in the span of a single city block. WILD was initially engaged to help amplify the grand opening of The District’s chef-driven food hall and provided media relations services, in addition to managing the execution of an exclusive preview event for media and influencers to attend. Following the success of this initial engagement, The District once again called on WILD to provide media and influencer relations, as well as event support for ongoing activities, including the opening of some of the final onsite restaurant concepts.

Provide consultation and event execution support for multiple events, including ensuring that key media and influencer contacts were engaged to amplify awareness and secure coverage
Garnered coverage from numerous outlets on multiple occasions, including Avenue Magazine, the Calgary Herald, Daily Hive, Global News, Virgin Radio, CBC News, Retail Insider, Narcity, and more
Arranged sponsored media segments, which involved coordinating multiple spokespeople, developing key messaging, and onsite day-of support
Executed both paid and mail-out influencer campaigns from start to finish, including providing recommendations about who best to engage to reach key audience, facilitation of contract negotiations, oversight of deliverables, development and delivery of thoughtful influencer packages, and measurement of impactful results
